The role is available to start in October and offers full-time hours at a Band 6/7 level. The successful candidate will be HCPC registered and have the right to work in the UK. This position involves managing a caseload of high-risk patients, with responsibilities varying based on the band level. Band 6 duties will include high-risk caseload management, dressing clinics, and home visits, while Band 7 duties will encompass high-risk and diabetic clinics in addition to the Band 6 responsibilities. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced podiatrist to provide specialised care in a dynamic setting. What your responsibilities will be for this Podiatry role? The Band 6 Locum Podiatrist you will deliver comprehensive podiatric assessments and treatments, specialising in musculoskeletal (MSK) and biomechanics issues. Your responsibilities will include managing a varied caseload within the community, addressing conditions such as foot and lower limb pain, gait abnormalities, and biomechanical imbalances. You will develop and implement individualised treatment plans, working closely with patients to improve their mobility and quality of life. Effective communication with patients and collaboration with other healthcare professionals will be key to providing integrated care. Additionally, you will maintain accurate patient records and contribute to service development and best practices within the community podiatry team.
