Role: Children's Residential Care Worker Location : Bloxwich Hours : 36-hour contract Shift Pattern : 2 on 4 off Salary : up to £14 per hour (Additional pay for sleep-ins and overtime) Do you want to be part of a devoted team of care workers working in one of our beautiful Ofsted Registered Children's homes in Bloxwich, Walsall? Our children and young people's ages range from 8 up to 18 years old and they have often experienced high levels of trauma, neglect, and crisis in their young lives, resulting in them experiencing complex challenges. You will need to have had at least 12 months experience working with children/young people. (Essential) What will be expected from you as a Residential Care Worker? An NVQ/Diploma Level 3, or equivalent, in Children & Young people is preferred for this role. Upon completion your salary would then be increased in line with other qualified members of the team at the rate of £14 per hour We will pay for your initial DBS check, where it is then your responsibility to either join the update service or pay for a new certificate upon renewal date (every 2 years).
