Office & Contracts Manager, Oxfordshire, c£32k DOE
Great opportunity for an experienced contracts and procurement professional with excellent organisational, office management and administrative skills to join this global Christian Charity at their UK HQ in Oxfordshire. You have already a few years behind you in a professional environment and will report in to their Operations Director, taking direct responsibility for the provision of contract and procurement standards and services to the staff team as well as providing a consistent legal framework for externally sourced services. Leading a small team consisting of a Facilities Assistant and a Compliance Officer, you will be responsible for the office space contracts and provision of associated services to staff, visitors and external users of the building ensuring compliance with required HSE and other workplace standards. It is envisaged that your time will be split 40/50/10 between contracts management, office management and line management
The successful candidate can demonstrate:
* Substantial previous experience of drafting, understanding and negotiating commercial contracts
* Proven experience of working with suppliers and third parties for the procurement of goods and services
* Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
* Strong IT literacy, particularly the Microsoft suite of applications
* Practical working knowledge of legislation (data protection, HSE, contract law, etc), insurance terms, terms of business and associated documents
* Document control process and procedure
* Previous line management experience
* The ability to prioritise and manage multiple projects and tasks
* Excellent time management.
