This role involves providing expert security advice and support to our service, projects, and programmes, ensuring consistent and effective standards of information and guidance in line with defined security polices. You will act as a focal point for stakeholders, manager, and staff, ensuring security operations are managed in accordance with current HMG Security Policy Framework and our client policies, controls, and standards. Providing Audits including detailed reports. Demonstrate a thorough knowledge of company systems and procedures. Building Access Control System, ensuring information is accurate and up-to-date actively promote security awareness among all employees. Foster excellent customer relationships by providing timely advice and support to employees and managers. Manage day-to-day team activities, acting as line manager and leave by example. Deliver security advice to employees, line managers, and external agencies, liaising with external agencies and other Security Controllers. Provide strong presentation skills to support and facilitate management decision-making. Exhibit strong negotiation and influencing skill to drive results. Be flexible and adapt to change, with a proactive approach and continues improvement. Ensure communication is open, honest and effective while maintaining confidentiality of sensitive information. Maintain and operate the Security Database system. Attend regular Security Team meetings to review progress, relationships, policies, and ensure information flow within the team. Manage time and priorities effectively, collaborating with line manager. Regularly review achievements against objectives and participate in change initiatives.
