Immunisations Business Manager
An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Immunisation service with the overall aim of continual service improvement ensuring delivery of high quality care, service development and redesign and managing staff performance.
This role supports the business function of the South London Children and Young People's Community Immunisation Service covering 12 London boroughs.
Key areas include ensuring appropriate systems are in place to support service delivery including audit and monitoring functions.
Production of reports as determined by NHSE and maintain a structured and systematic approach to data recording and reporting.
Oversight of business support teams and communications and engagement.
You must be a car driver with a valid licence as travel to the Immunisation sites is required and part of this role.
You will be required to work from both the Croydon base in Purley Way and the Teddington base.
· To have an overview of the work of business support staff including administration staff, call centre staff, comms and engagement officer, performance and data officer, and bank admin staff in the department, to ensure the day to-day smooth running of all business support functions within the team; ensuring all departmental priorities are met, and services are delivered to an expected standard and timetable.
· Produce timely and accurate information analysis and detailed reporting with information in a suitable format for the audience to enable and enhance decision making.
· To manage all human resources and recruitment processes for all administrative/business support ,call centre, immunisation comms and engagement and immunisation performance and data posts within the department.
· To monitor and check the accuracy of the contractual requirement submissions on behalf of the CSMs and to ensure that all claims are submitted in good time and item of service payments are made and received.
· To be the team lead for management of the immunisation service data as required by NHSE commissioners.
· Support and oversee the work of the communications and engagement officer to maximise uptake of vaccinations to children and young people. Ensure the department’s social media accounts and webpages are regularly updated.
You will be required to travel, therefore a valid driving license and access to a vehicle would be desirable.
