Our Waverley unit is looking for a Multi Trade Carpenter who enjoys delivering a vital and valued repairs service to residential customers to work within our Response Team. You will specialise in day-to-day repairs, maintenance, and minor refurbishments for our reputable Social Housing client, working in properties in Waverley and the surrounding areas. A range of other benefits including preferred supplier discounts and much more The Multi Trade Carpenter role: Undertaking multi trade work including jobs such as patch plastering, tiling, and carpentry repair works in a domestic setting, utilising fault finding and problem-solving capabilities. Specifically, you’ll be completing a target output of up to 6 jobs per day, attending to reactive, emergency, and routine repairs as well as planned refurbishment jobs (within void properties) on occasions too Typical repairs can include broken taps, leaking pipes, drainage unblocks, and general kitchen and bathroom repair work Demonstrating excellent customer service skills when working in a customer facing environment, in occupied properties. Emergency call out expected 1-4 coverage What you will bring as a Multi Carpenter: Qualified to an NVQ 2 level or Equivalent - able to demonstrate the level of skills and experience required to be successful in the role Experience of working in a fast paced environment carrying out multiple repairs across multiple locations on a daily basis required (desirable) Ability to work professionally and considerately in a range of environments, including vulnerable tenant’s homes within Social Housing settings Motivated in your approach to work, and able to work to individual output targets Possession of a full current UK Driving licence, with use of a company van.
