Job Description
Our client is currently recruiting for the position of HR Generalist, based in Aberdeen. This has been released on a PAYE contract until the end of November 2025.
Responsibilities:
* Provide specialist advice to management and employees on collective employee relations issues.
* Act as a point of contact for employee queries regarding policies and procedures.
* Review and update existing employee relations policies/procedures to ensure compliance with current legislation and best practices.
* Develop new policies as needed, ensuring alignment with the client’s values.
* Collaborate with PO network locally and globally as needed to build awareness of policies and pending legislation, eg Harassment.
* Support in the co-ordination of the UK Works Council to drive employee engagement.
* Keep abreast of any changes or developments in UK employment law and update UK PO network.
* Other ad-hoc projects or tasks as needed
* Specific Requirements:
o Strong HR knowledge (CIPD qualification or equivalent)
o Strong competence in Employee Relations
o Experience in supporting offshore/operational teams in addition to onshore teams
o Negotiations and diplomacy skills
o Ability to collaborate and communicate effectively with internal and external stakeholders.
o Ability to interact and connect in a global matrix organization.
o A proactive, self-motivated and delivery-oriented team player
o An effective communicator with strong oral and written skills
o Demonstrate our values (Open, Caring, Courageous, Collaborative)
o Flexible working style and able to take on higher workload in busy periods
