MYCOM Group is a community based events and content business. We own a group of professional business networking and wellbeing platforms that help people connect and develop whilst enjoying the best of Manchester. The successful candidate will be tasked with working across the group as a whole. Working in Events and Digital Marketing, candidates should be aware of emerging trends for our audiences, also new
Business opportunities across the city.
Aim: Responsible for the execution of the external facing channels, including social media, email, our ticketing platform and WhatsApp Channel, to support the Managing Director with our content and events strategy working with venues and Commercial Partners strategies alike.
Candidates should have charisma, drive and be extremely personable. A good knowledge of advertising, marketing, social and media platforms is also highly favourable. As well as an
understanding of hosting events.
YOU SHOULD APPLY IF
1+ years experience in social media, content creation, marketing or events
Events, design and creative execution is your thing
Experience in editing video for social media
You have a strong knowledge of relevant design tools and software (Canva)
You want to thrive and grow further in the creative industry and learn from experts
You’re inquisitive, enthusiastic and have the drive to succeed
You aren’t afraid of the numbers - you can work with spreadsheets and data, turning it into something visually creative that brings an idea to life
You want to make an impact in Manchester on come of the coolest events and brand campaigns in the city
A “roll up your sleeves” attitude to get the job done - you will be able to react to rapid-fire requests and tight timelines, whilst keeping a chill, proactive attitude

RESPONSIBILITIES
Excellent writing and communication skills.
Flexible to attend and network at evening and weekend events.
Creating engaging content for newsletters, press releases, blogs and social media
Executing social media campaigns
Executing email marketing campaigns
Creating Blogs and Press Releases
Securing media coverage in regional publications
Managing and creating influencer partnerships
Staying up to date with industry trends.
Liaising with venues to share risk assessments and event dietary requirements.
Supporting at events.
Supporting with admin such as invoices.

A salary of £23-25k depending on experience
