Location Address: Hybrid - Scarborough – 2 days/month – 1st Tuesday of month and 2nd is based on everyone’s availability, typically 3rd Thursday of the month

Typical Day in Role:
1. Back-end / front-end – most work is back end – 80/20 back-end front end
2. Tech stack - Java 8 / 11; Angular / React; MSSQL DB; Springboot Framework
3. Participate in client calls and understand requirements
4. Break down and document requirements in HLDs and LLDs
5. Leverage industry best practices to design, test, implement and support a solution
6. Assure quality, security and compliance requirements are met for supported area
7. Be flexible and thrive in an evolving environment
8. Adapt to change quickly and adjust work accordingly in a positive manner
Candidate Requirements/Must Have Skills:
1. 8+ years’ experience as a Developer
2. 6+ years’ experience with Java 8 / 11
3. 4+ years’ experience with Angular / React
4. 6+ years’ experience with MSSQL DB
5. 1+ year experience with Springboot Framework
Nice-To-Have Skills:
1. Experience with front end development
2. Understanding of Agile methodology
3. Banking / Fintech Experience
4. Experience with JIRA, Confluence, Github, Bitbucket
Soft Skills Required:
1. Communicating and coordinating requirements with external teams
2. Documenting requirement analysis
Education:
Bachelor's degree in a technical field
Best VS. Average Candidate:
Ideal candidate is accountable and is a team player; someone who has strong back-end but also has front-end experience so they can assist with those tickets when they come up; good communication, should be able to speak up in meetings, comfortable with Agile environment

2 technical interviews and 1 culture fit – order of interviews TBD
Technical interviews – 30 minutes – scenario based technical questions – with Architects and Devs
The culture fit will be with HM – 30 minutes
