As we continue our journey of growth and expansion to serve the new era of nuclear energy, Boccard, as a leading specialist in engineering, manufacturing, construction and maintenance in the nuclear energy industry, are looking for a Project Controls Engineer to work within the Project Control team to ensure our projects at the Nuclear New Build Project at Hinkley Point C are successfully delivered on time and to budget. The role will be based at Boccard Bristol city centre office. Working across a portfolio of exciting projects, the role will be part of our Project Control Team, supporting the Programme Manager on reporting, document management and project planning. Role: Support on a number of projects, ensuring good practise to enable the projects to meet specified requirements and targets. Contribute to the delivery programme baseline and operate project control processes including requirements, capture, planning, cost, risk, trend analysis and change control. Contribute to management of the project risks and opportunities plan and instigates mitigation measures or other appropriate actions Ensure project documentation is maintained to the required standards within the management system Contribute to the management of changes of estimation and planning to enable valuation and submission of contract change applications Assists the Project Management Office lead in delivering the strategy and support with capability development responsibilities Provide project performance data including critical path analysis, float erosion, milestones, CPI, SPI and EVA to the Project Control lead on a monthly basis Contribute to the monthly Client supplier reports Support internal audits to ensure compliance with procedures and implement corrective actions as necessary Experience and qualifications: Educated to degree standard in an Engineering discipline, applicants must be detail orientated, organised with excellent planning skills, analytical and proficient in Microsoft office (excel and ideally Power Query and Power BI).Curiosity and willingness to learn are key. Previous experience within an engineering or technical environment ideally in the nuclear industry would be beneficial. ADZN1_UKTJ
