Job Role Summary
Directly managing the Clydebank remanufacturing operation, supporting Xerox's drive to net zero by 2040 by optimizing our circular economy processes and driving revenue growth through increased value extracted from assets captured in our reverse supply chain processes.
Responsibilities
* Leading team and arranging new/refurbished machine installations for sales department
* Dealing with any escalation raised by clients or sales account managers, bringing them to a close
* Engaging with our technical services organization to champion technology and innovation, explore utilization of Augmented Reality to improve remanufacturing processes
* Engaging with a wide range of supply chain partners (Remarketing, repair, logistics)
* Managing our EMEA wide equipment remanufacturing processes both in Clydebank directly as well as indirectly through European suppliers
* Monitoring team performance using 1-2-1’s, annual reviews, and six-monthly assessments
* Providing ongoing training and support to the team
* Ensuring the remanufacturing processes are optimized to achieve the quality standards our customers demand
* Monitoring and reporting on the profitability of our remanufacturing operations and identifying key improvement points and action plans
* Managing our outsourced remanufacturing processes outside of the UK, driving for simplicity and one common standard globally
* Liaising with the wider supply chain team to ensure availability of required resources (Logistics, planning, finance)
* Liaising with sales teams to understand requirements, ensuring inclusion of these requirements in our S&OP process
* Driving profitability through improving remanufacturing processes and improving the technical performance of our facilities
* Driving profitability through strict hands-on management of our remanufacturing suppliers, ensuring adherence to quality standards while balancing the need for cost reduction
* Driving profitability and revenue growth through hands-on management of our remarketing partners
* Minimizing inventory while balancing available products with outlook and sales demand
Education Requirements
Min/Preferred Experience in leading a team of professionals
Additional Role Requirements
* Attend daily operations briefings
* Attend weekly workflow catch-up meetings
* Good understanding and working knowledge of Microsoft
