Role description
We are currently seeking to recruit an Electrician into the Cold End Engineering Department. The main purpose of this role is to carry out electrical repairs and maintain cold end equipment and contribute to efficient job changes to allow the manufacturing process to run effectively, producing quality glass for beverage containers.

Prepare cold end equipment ready for job changes and potential break downs, ensuring equipment meets necessary specifications for the new job

Take part in job changes, setting up and adjusting cold end equipment as necessary to maintain efficient operations during and after the job change

Provide support for critical plant functions as and when required
:
Identify and rectify faults with cold end equipment to maintain efficiency and reduce downtime
:
Complete SAP/APS log as each job is completed to establish and maintain a well:informed team
:
Communicate with colleagues and management to establish and maintain a well:informed team
:
Work as part of an effective team to manage and control the workload throughout the shift
Required skills / qualifications:

Gained a recognised Apprenticeship in electrical engineering (or equivalent)

An understanding of glass container terminology and fault awareness
:
Commitment and enthusiasm to support a 24:hour process, and ability to work under pressure
:
Excellent Analytical and communication skills

Health, safety and hygiene awareness
What we offer

Minimum GBP 31,724 : GBP 39,104 per annum
:

37 hours a week, Monday to Friday or Condensed working hours available (4 days), which includes 26.5days holiday plus 8 ststutory bank holidays
