Job summary
CAMHS Inpatients are looking for highly motivated, caring and compassionate individuals with knowledge and skills of working with young people with mental health difficulties.
All staff in a non-registered staff role will undertake NHFT's Prepare to Care programme as part of their induction. Using a blended learning approach, you will attain key skills and competencies enabling you to provide safe and compassionate care from the very start. Alongside this, you will also complete the Care Certificate within your first 12 weeks of employment, this may act as stepping stone should you wish to further your career later on. You will be supported through your induction by a dedicated team, who's primary focus is to ensure you have the right skills to do your job effectively.
Main duties of the job
Work within the team to deliver quality and care to the young people admitted to the Inpatient Wards. Assisting with individual and group therapy sessions through an identified timetable of educational and therapeutic activities. Support and supervision will be given by the Registered Nurses.
