Post is 2 Hrs – (15hrs funded permanently + 7. Hrs funded for 18months).
The respiratory nursing team in NHS Borders is responsible for providing specialist respiratory care support and expertise forborde patients with a variety of respiratory conditions (excluding lung cancer). An exciting opportunity has arisen for a registered nurse to join our Respiratory Nurse Specialist team.
The post holder will be working in both hospital and community settings.
Acutely – across the BGH site offering support/advice and expertise in the management of acutely ill respiratory patients.
Outpatient – including nurse led clinics for interstitial lung disease, oxygen/nebuliser assessment and Biologic therapies.
Community – domiciliary visits for patients on long term oxygen therapy and patients in community hospital settings.
You will have the opportunity to work in a small, friendly, forward thinking Respiratory Team to deliver high standards of care for people with Respiratory conditions and their families/carers.
The post holder will be required to undertake Exposure Prone Procedures (EPP).
