We are recruiting for an Accounts Assistant for a large business in South Leeds. This role is a permanent full-time position, which is recruited on a temporary to permanent basis.
It would be advantageous if you have experience in a similar position, although candidates looking to 'step up' from a more transactional purchase ledger position will also be considered.
Some of the key duties will include:
* Provide administrative assistance in the preparation of monthly management accounts and month end process.
* Establish appropriate books and records for cash, bank, fixed assets, stocks, debtors, and creditors.
* Carry out daily bank checks to ensure all cash is correctly posted.
* Support the credit control function.
* Support the purchase ledger function, including the coding and posting of supplier invoices.
