Are you passionate about delivering first-class customer service and experience and ensuring resilient operations within a commercial property portfolio that includes but is not limited to leisure centres, commercial lets, office units, theatres, and shopping complexes?
Look no further; we are seeking a dedicated individual to join our team and contribute to the efficient delivery of first-class corporate facilities maintenance services.
As the building surveyor, you will assist the senior building surveyor in delivering an excellent facilities maintenance service and oversee repairs and maintenance of our council’s commercial property portfolio.
Your role will be pivotal in ensuring that our commercial facilities are well maintained and operate at their optimum capacity. This is a diverse role in a busy team, and the applicant will need to have significant and broad experience of managing contractors, organising maintenance schedules, and following up on actions arising from routine inspections, repairs, and planned maintenance.

You will need to be a driven self-starter, organise your own workload, and have excellent communication skills with customers and within the team, plus a proven track record in working on commercial property in a maintenance and management role.
