Client Details Approx. 200 employees nationwide, national IT business Large UK Business partnering with household names Office in High Wycombe - Hybrid Working pattern Free Parking on site Great company office environment Market leader in their field Trading for over 20 years Description Accounts Receivable & Payable - Conduct credit analysis Deal with all customer invoices Send bill reminders & work closely with our sales team to ensure timely payments Manage & chase the status of outstanding invoices & report back to Financial Controller Verify discrepancies, resolve client billing issues, ensure all customer communications are sent in a timely manner Process vendor bills Manage vendor accounts payable terms General Accounting - Support the preparation of monthly management accounts and reconcile balance sheets. Contribute to general ledger entries and perform account analysis. Handle various ad-hoc accounting tasks as required. Profile We are seeking a well-organised and personable Finance Assistant with: A Finance degree (highly desirable) Obtaining a CIMA/ACCA qualification (not essential) Strong analytical and problem-solving skills Proficiency in Microsoft Office Excellent attention to detail and accuracy Ability to work both independently and as part of a team Strong communication and interpersonal skills Ambition to build a successful career in finance Immediately available Basic knowledge of accounting principles Familiarity with accounting systems (e.g., Xero) Proficiency in Excel (including VLOOKUP, PivotTables, SUMIF) Job Offer Finance Assistant Based in High Wycombe (Free Parking on site) Easily accessible via public transport Hybrid Working (3 days from the office, 2 days from home) Flexible working hours Immediate start - ideally, temp to perm for the right candidate £19 - £22 per hour dependant on experience Company events Collaborative work environment Close-knit team
