Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and experienced Head Server to join our dynamic team in a fast-paced dining environment. The ideal candidate will possess a passion for hospitality and culinary excellence, ensuring that our guests receive exceptional service throughout their dining experience. As the Head Server, you will lead by example, manage the serving staff, and play a crucial role in maintaining high standards of food safety and guest satisfaction.
Responsibilities
* Oversee daily operations of the dining area, ensuring smooth service and guest satisfaction.
* Train, mentor, and supervise serving staff to ensure adherence to service standards.
* Manage guest relations by providing attentive and personalised service.
* Assist with food preparation and presentation, ensuring compliance with food safety regulations.
* Utilise basic maths skills for accurate order taking and bill processing.
* Promote menu items through effective upselling techniques to enhance guest experience.
* Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure timely and accurate food delivery.
* Maintain cleanliness and organisation of the dining area and service stations.
* Handle guest inquiries and complaints professionally, providing solutions as needed.
Experience
* Proven experience in a hospitality or culinary role, preferably as a server or in a supervisory position.
* Strong understanding of food safety practices and regulations.
* Excellent time management skills with the ability to prioritise tasks effectively.
* Demonstrated ability to provide outstanding guest services in a busy environment.
* Familiarity with food preparation techniques is advantageous.
* A positive attitude with strong interpersonal skills to foster teamwork.

Pay: £22,880.00-£30,000.00 per year
