About the role
This role will see you reporting to a Site Manager and Project Manager on a new industrial scheme.
Responsibilities of the Assistant Site Manager
1. Assist the Site Manager in overseeing daily site operations, ensuring work is carried out safely, efficiently, and to the highest standard.
2. Support the coordination of subcontractors, suppliers, and on-site personnel to maintain project progress.
3. Monitor compliance with health and safety regulations.
4. Help manage quality control, ensuring all work meets project specifications and standards.
5. Communicate effectively with the project team.
Requirements for the Assistant Site Manager
1. Previous experience as an Assistant Site Manager from a main contractor.
2. CSCS card, First Aid, and SMSTS certification.
3. Strong understanding of construction processes, health and safety regulations, and industry standards.
4. Proactive and eager to learn, with a strong desire to develop your career.
