Systems Analyst - Warwick with travel to UK Interconnector sites (hybrid working)
Join us now and be part of a dynamic and highly skilled team that is making a real difference in the energy industry! A team responsible for the security, resilience, and compliance of critical systems and networks in National Grid Interconnectors. We are recruiting two Systems Analysts.
As a Systems Analyst, you will manage our Operational Technology (OT) and local IT at one of our Interconnector sites in the North or South, with site visits required biweekly.
The NGV Systems Analysts will act as product owners/service managers to ensure regulatory compliance, system security, and resilience of Operational Technology. You will serve as the primary contact for all site and control room OT/Cyber activities, developing strong relationships with site teams and system suppliers.
You will work closely with suppliers and site engineers to facilitate changes and maintenance, ensuring activities are well planned and communicated, including asset management and documentation updates. You will also support project activities by owning deliverables related to technology, processes, and ways of working.
This role is based in Warwick with hybrid working arrangements, allowing a combination of office and home working. Travel to UK Interconnector sites will be required.
What you'll be doing
You will ensure that your systems meet operational and compliance standards, acting as a second line of assurance. Responsibilities include maintaining system data, supporting design changes, ensuring policy adherence, managing suppliers, supporting business continuity, managing system networks, and developing user training and documentation.
* Deliver design changes and system updates to meet business needs.
* Ensure policy and standards compliance at system and supplier levels.
* Manage suppliers in collaboration with the contracts team.
* Ensure systems comply with cybersecurity standards.
* Support business continuity and disaster recovery testing.
* Design and manage system networks.
* Maintain system designs, documentation, and configurations.
* Act as data steward for system data.
* Manage application testing (UAT) with end-users.
* Handle bug and issue resolution.
* Develop user training and system documentation.
About you
Ideal candidates are eager to learn different systems and support the team. Experience with delivering projects involving diverse stakeholders is preferred, along with the ability to communicate clearly across different knowledge levels.
* Experience with Operational Technology or IT.
* IEC62443 or ISO27001 experience is a plus but not required.
* Experience in operational resilience.
* Change and project management skills.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
