Job Description
Join a committed team of innovative thinkers developing new diamond materials made by high pressure – high temperature (HPHT) sintering for the rock cutting industry. Together we will develop novel concepts and new products for commercialisation, in partnership with some of the world’s leading Oil & Gas industry players. End applications include oil & gas drilling and geothermal energy drilling applications.
We are looking for someone with passion to join us at our world class Global Innovation Centre in Harwell, Oxfordshire, who cares about what they do, works well in a team and individually, and who is creative, motivated, and able to deliver on challenging objectives. A desire to get stuck into the “hands on” technical aspects of the development work is essential.
This role would ideally be suited to a recent graduate/post-graduate with a degree in Materials Science looking to acquire new skills and experiences, but those with relevant degrees in Physics and Chemistry that are looking to get into this exciting industry should also apply.
The successful applicant will be welcomed into a project team, given clear responsibilities and trusted to drive progress, whilst also given opportunities for learning and career development.
