Science Technician Key Responsibilities:
* Prepare and set up practical experiments for biology, chemistry, and physics lessons.
* Maintain and organise laboratory equipment, ensuring a safe and efficient workspace.
* Support teaching staff during practical sessions, including demonstrations and troubleshooting equipment.
* Safely manage chemicals and biological materials in line with health and safety regulations.
* Assist in the management and ordering of stock, equipment, and materials.
* Help maintain accurate records of equipment, ensuring compliance with regulatory standards.
Science Technician What We're Looking For:
* A good understanding of science, with relevant qualifications in any science subject - preferably degree level
* Strong organisational skills, with the ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
* A keen eye for detail, especially concerning health and safety protocols in a lab setting.
* Previous experience as a science technician (preferred but not essential).
* Ability to work well independently as well as part of a team.
