Full Job Description
We are seeking an experienced Registered Mental Health Nurse to become an integral part of a multi-disciplinary team. In this role, you will be responsible for delivering patient-centred care, including conducting assessments, creating care plans, managing risk, and providing high-quality, compassionate care with a person-centred approach. You will work collaboratively with service users to help them achieve their goals and aspirations. Additionally, you will provide mentorship to colleagues and contribute to a supportive team environment.
About the Role:
This is a modern and spacious locked rehabilitation recovery service for men with mental illness. With a strong focus on developing skills for independence, the unit offers a positive step for patients, many of whom are preparing to transition back into the community. The unit helps patients learn new ways to manage their conditions and symptoms, aiming to prevent future relapse. For those with challenging behaviours, the service helps them develop strategies to change their responses to anxiety and distress.
* 16 hours and below contract: 0%
* 16.5 – 32.5 hour contract: 50%
* 33 hours and above contract: 100%
