Due to our vision of growth, we are recruiting an experienced Recruitment Consultant or Senior Consultant to join our Local Government Housing Team in London. This is a hybrid desk doing Temporary & Permanent recruitment across South East England. Specialising in recruiting to Housing Options, Homelessness and Housing Management.
Salary: £26,-£35, Base (Plus Commission)
Location: London with Hybrid working. 3 days office based.
The ideal candidate
1. Experience of temporary recruitment, with minimum 2 years experience as a Recruitment Consultant.
2. Experience of running a busy, high performing desk.
3. Confident with undertaking Business Development
4. Good research skills and the desire to be an expert in your field
5. Desire to develop relationships and ability to create rapport with people at all levels, face to face and on the phone
6. Background in recruitment or sales is essential
7. A great team player, willingness to go above and beyond to exceed expectations
8. A sense of urgency, ability to work to deadlines
Key role responsibilities
Candidate management
9. Takes ownership of candidate pool generation through
10. Targeted advertising and networking through LinkedIn and other relevant professional media sources Monitoring job boards Generating referrals
11. Administrative compliance - effectively registering candidates to build candidate database
12. Ensures that all aspects of candidate care, both prior to and post placement, are delivered to Morgan Hunt's standards - ensuring continuity of communication
Business Generation & Client Management
13. Self-motivated to generate new business through cold sales calls
14. Positively grows both personal and Morgan Hunt brand
15. Prioritises business opportunities correctly
16. Develops relationships with clients to ensure repeat business secured Consistent telephone contact Conducting effective meetings Proactively seeking service reviews
17. Consistently meeting set deadlines
18. Develops specialist knowledge of chosen sector
19. Delivering end to end consultancy service, exceeding client and candidate expectations.
