Synergize Ltd is an already successful, UK-based leader in refurbishment, maintenance, and remediation services with a particular focus on energy efficiency, refurbishment and void maintenance projects.

Synergize is part of Grosvenor House Group who deliver facilities management, building refurbishment and passive fire protection through their expert subsidiaries—Adaston, Synergize, and GFM.
Synergize has a solid financial footing and has experienced solid growth over the last 5 years, as a direct result of their success an opportunity has arisen for a Managing Director to join the business - this role will be replacing the former Managing Director who has been promoted internally.

Managing Director - Permanent
Synergize has retained Williams Bain to recruit a results-driven Managing Director who will lead and drive the strategic growth and operational success of the company.
Reporting directly to the Group Board of Directors, this role will be responsible for overseeing all aspects of the company's operations, including business development, financial management, team leadership and client relationships.
Objectives for the new Managing Director:
In 6 Months:
* Build a working relationship with the heads of the other Group companies to ensure the best outcomes for the Group are always prioritised.
* Develop and execute the company's strategic growth plan in alignment with the overall mission and objectives of the Group.
* Take responsibility for client relationships which include Local Authorities, Central Government, Ministry Of Defence, Property Owners and Developers.
* Ascertain a full understanding of the business’s financial performance, team performance and group profit contribution expectations.
* Become familiar with current and impending legislation by building a working relationship with government agencies and trade associations.
Within 12 months:
* Secure growth through new market opportunities, emerging trends, and potential
areas for expansion within the energy efficiency, refurbishment, fire safety, damp &
mould, void and response maintenance sectors.
* Enhance margin growth and improved efficiency through the development of a data led business.
* Cultivate strong, long-term relationships with existing clients, ensuring high levels of customer satisfaction, retention and loyalty.
* Provide visionary leadership and direction to the management team, ensuring alignment with organisational goals and values.
* Build a performance culture by conducting regular performance evaluations and rewarding outstanding contributions from your team.
* Develop and manage the company's annual budget, financial forecasts and financial reporting processes.
Within 3 years:
* Be regarded as a “go to” supplier in the energy efficiency, refurbishment and void maintenance sectors.
* Have a track record of delivering increased revenue across the group through large client contracts in collaboration with the Group Managing Directors.
* Deliver shareholder value in line with the Groups strategic plan.
The successful candidate will be able to demonstrate the following:
* Strategic thinker with the ability to drive results and meet targets.
* Experience within or closely aligned to the energy efficiency, refurbishment, void maintenance sectors.
* Strong leadership and the ability to create a performance culture.
* Excellent communication, decision making, negotiation and client relationship building capabilities.
* Financial acumen and the ability to manage a P&L.
