Job Description
We are looking for an experienced talent with former General Manager experience and a background in premium hospitality, ideally with resort experience, to lead the operations of a five-star family resort under the MÖVENPICK brand at Lake Balaton in Hungary. This unique property offers 109 rooms, a restaurant & bar, spa & wellness facilities, private beach and entertainment areas.
KEY RESPONSIBILITIES:
1. Successful management of a five-star family resort in the region of Balaton, Szántód, operated under Mövenpick brand via Hotel Management Agreement.
2. Strengthen the hotel’s market position and set Accor’s footprint in the Balaton region.
3. Plan and manage the operations of the hotel to achieve customer (guests, talents, corporate, owner) satisfaction and quality service while meeting / exceeding financial goals.
Qualifications
1. At least 5 years’ experience in Hotel General Manager position
2. Premium / Luxury experience
3. Strong operational background
4. Outstanding sales acumen, commercial mindset
5. Resort experience is a competitive advantage
6. Fluency in English language
7. Hungarian language knowledge is a competitive advantage
8. Ability to manage relationship with owner and manager in the frame of Hotel Management Agreement
9. Leadership, autonomy
10. Service and quality minded character
11. Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
12. Ability to create positive, effective and sustainable working relationships at all levels
