Required from January or asap after. A part time teacher with responsibility for the delivery of the Humanities curriculum within a small specialised Tier 4 CAMHS setting.
We are a hospital school set within a 18 bed Low Secure Psychiatric setting, within Potters Bar Clinic Hospital. We are part of a larger private healthcare company run by Elysium Healthcare.
The pupils in our care are aged between 13 to 18 and are with us for having a range of mental health issues that require usually a short term stay within a low secure setting. As part of their stay patients are able to access our education provision, allowing them to keep up with their studies which is instrumental in helping our pupils reintegrate back in to a mainstream settings.
We are looking for a well qualified teacher to join our specialised teaching team. Perhaps with some special school experience although not essential. You will be teaching in small groups of up to five pupils delivering Humanities subjects.
