Alexander James Recruiting is currently working with a leading supplier of Warehouse Automation & Software products that are looking to bring an electrically biased Site Engineer to support their customer site in Bicester. With a competitive base salary and overall package, this is a great opportunity for a maintenance engineer with experience working with automation and control systems and working within a closely affiliated industry.
Responsibilities
* Repairing and maintaining automated site equipment to a high standard
* Working in response to customer requirements to ensure company systems deliver the required levels of service
* Understanding and following 5S best practices
* Communicating and escalating any issues following company procedures
* Ensuring excellent customer service and representing the company in the right way on customer site
* Working a varied shift pattern averaging 40 hours per week
Requirements
Our client is ideally looking for an individual with an electrical bias but good mechanical knowledge with a background in working within Warehouse Automation. This isn’t essential; however, they are also open to candidates who have experience working within a variety of industries provided they have a strong understanding of mechanical and electrical systems. It is vital for the role that you hold an Engineering qualification and are experienced with using a CMMS. This role is situated at a customer site in Bicester, and the ideal candidate would be located within a reasonable commute of this.
