Job Description
The Department of Psychology at Middlesex University is seeking to appoint a part-time Research Assistant in Psychology to support a research project led by Dr Gemma Reynolds exploring the benefits of expressive writing for higher education students. This role offers an exciting opportunity for a postgraduate researcher (PhD candidate or holder) to contribute to impactful research in Psychology.
This position would suit an individual passionate about research and teamwork, who is adept at balancing multiple responsibilities. The successful candidate will be responsible for tasks such as:
1. Survey design and implementation
2. Participant recruitment
3. Data organisation and analysis (quantitative and qualitative)
4. Disseminating findings through publications and conference presentations
5. Maintaining a research website
6. Promoting the study on social media
As part of the role, the candidate will join the Educational and Developmental Psychology Research Group, an active and collaborative community of researchers dedicated to advancing knowledge in these fields. Membership in the group offers opportunities for interdisciplinary collaboration and networking, further enriching the candidate’s research journey.
