Our client works in the construction equipment industry and is looking for a Service Engineer.
The company is a manufacturer of transportation, excavation and lifting equipment and is looking to further expand the network of service engineers.
Ideally, you will be apprentice served in either Hydraulic engineering or Mechanical engineering.
Carry out the commissioning, maintenance, inspection and servicing of client heavy equipment.
Carry out repairs and inspection on a range of electrical equipment and systems.
Carry out fault finding and repairs of hydraulic and mechanical equipment and systems.
Rigging and lift planning
Minimise any environmental risks which may occur when undertaking the tasks required and ensure all available controls are utilised when off-shore
Working within the heavy plant industry.
An in-depth knowledge of preventative maintenance of cranes
Experience with load monitoring equipment
UK driving licence.
Can read schematics and engineering drawings then translate this into practice.
Experience working with marine engineering applications.
