Please find a description of the role below Location: Leicester Working: Hybrid (1 day per week in office) Salary: £49,764 to £52,805 (based on experience, qualifications and interview performance) Key Responsibilities: Lead a team managing procurement processes, from planning to contract execution.
Develop and implement procurement strategies aligned with organizational goals.
Oversee evaluation, negotiations, and contract management, ensuring compliance.
Build relationships with suppliers and internal clients to ensure value for money.
Lead cross-functional teams on high-value projects, ensuring delivery within scope and budget.
Continuously improve procurement processes and practices.
Key Requirements: Proven experience in a senior procurement or management role.
Strong knowledge of procurement processes and relevant legislation (e.g., Public Contracts Regulations 2015).
Leadership experience and ability to motivate a team.
Excellent negotiation, communication, and relationship-building skills.
Strong analytical skills and the ability to prepare detailed reports.
