SEND Support Worker
We are seeking a compassionate and proactive SEND Support Worker to support students with additional needs within a specialist provision in Kendal.
Responsibilities:
1. Work closely with children with SEND to support their learning and development.
2. Assist with individualised education plans and tailored activities.
3. Foster a safe, inclusive, and engaging classroom environment.
Ideal Candidate:
1. Experience working with children with SEND is highly desirable.
2. Patience, empathy, and strong communication skills.
3. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
Details:
1. Full-time position, though part-time applications are also welcomed.
2. Hours 8.30am – 3.30pm

Safeguarding children is an integral part of what we do and we have a stringent safer recruitment process. We undertake checks on all the candidates we work with. As such we require a current Enhanced DBS Disclosure for everyone working in Schools. If you do not have a subscription to the DBS Update Service, you may be required to complete a new DBS application as part of the registration process.
All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position but long term. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available.
