Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen within the existing Respiratory Nursing team at Stockport NHS Foundation Trust. We are looking to recruit a Band 6 nurse with a keen interest in Respiratory Medicine. The main focus of the role will be working alongside the established CURE team and the delivery of the CURE project - Tobacco addiction within the Trust. The role will also comprise of assisting the delivery of Respiratory Nursing services under the guidance of the existing team developing your skills and knowledge in respiratory areas such as ILD, COPD, Asthma, pleural and Bronchiectasis. Main duties of the job The CURE project is a comprehensive secondary care treatment programme for tobacco addiction within Greater Manchester. The role will also comprise of assisting the delivery of Respiratory Nursing services under the guidance of the existing team, which would equate to approximately two sessions per week although subject to service demand. This role will look to suit a motivated, enthusiastic individual with a keen interest in Respiratory care.
