We are currently recruiting a Data Protection Analyst for a year-long contract at our local government client based in Plymouth. £19.83 per hour (inside IR35, via an umbrella company) 12 months, extendable Plymouth The role of this Data Protection Analyst is: To support the delivery of key aspects of the Information Commissioner’s audit producing a complete combined Record of Processing Activity (ROPA) and Information Asset Register (IAR). To identify deliverables ensuring the Council complies fully with the UK General Data Protection Regulation and the Data Protection Act 2018. To make the ROPA-IAR available to all staff as a usable resource enabling data held by the organisation to be utilised for the purpose of compliant service improvement and delivery. To be considered for this role you must meet the following criteria: At least 2 years’ experience of working in the field of Data Protection or data management and innovation. Knowledge of data management and quality assurance processes. Knowledge of legislation and policy related to data protection Project management of data management Collating, analysing, interpreting and graphically presenting data and developing innovative data management systems and products.
