Join our client's team as a Project Manager and play a key role in the development of a floating offshore wind farm in Scotland.
Role Overview
* Manage the safe execution of offshore activities and ensure compliance with industry codes, standards, and regulations.
* Manage the delivery of Environmental Impact Assessment, obtain offshore consents and carry out stakeholder management for the offshore scopes, including engagement of fisheries representatives.
* Lead and manage multi-disciplinary project teams, fostering team spirit and morale through intense periods of work.
* Manage consultants to deliver the offshore elements of the Environmental Impact Assessment, including scoping and mitigation plans.
* Forecast and manage necessary budgets for the project.
* Produce work-scopes and specifications for delivery at all stages of the project.
* Manage tender processes and assessments for surveys, studies, and technical support.
* Liaise with engineering packages, consultants, and contractors to input into design envelope and concept selection.
* Identify and manage risks, issues, and impacts to the project.
* Collaborate with Stakeholder Manager, Environment Manager, and Land Project Manager.
* Liaise with national government and regulatory authorities to benefit the project.
* Lead and participate in identification and implementation of consenting/compliance strategies.
* Ensure high levels of quality control throughout the process.
Skills & Qualifications
* PMP certification or equivalent project management experience.
* Experience in offshore development and management of multi-disciplinary teams.
* Strong planning and analysis skills with the ability to anticipate problems and implement solutions.
* Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to maintain team morale during intense work periods.
* Degree in a technical discipline preferred.
* Strong project management capabilities.
* Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
* Relevant professional qualification is desirable.
Education & Experience
* Bachelor's degree in a technical discipline preferred.
* PMP certification or equivalent project management experience.
