HSBC Market & Securities Services provides comprehensive global, regional and domestic fund services including fund administration, global custody and sub-custody settlement and services. Securities Lending Operations is a dynamic department that works with partners across the HSBC Global Banking and Markets business to deliver Securities Lending solutions to clients.
We are currently seeking an ambitious individual to join our Securities Services Custody Tax Product Team, working together with colleagues to define, manage and achieve business targets.

In this role you will:
* Provide tax technical support to the growing Securities Services global custody business.
* Own and manage the development, maintenance and communication of the custody tax product roadmap and upcoming changes to tax services with stakeholders. This will involve taking input from Clients, Market, Competitor Analysis, Sales & Client Management, Digital & Data, Operations, Tax Risk Stewards, and other relevant stakeholders.
* Identify new and enhanced regional/global Custody Tax Product opportunities, providing input to market/product strategy initiatives.
* Maintain an awareness of market and competitor developments and position and differentiate the Custody Tax Product offering relative to competition.
* Own the Custody Tax Product end to end, working across functions and teams to ensure an efficient, robust, and scalable product which fully meets client needs.
To be successful in this role you should meet the following requirements:
* Tax qualified (CA, ACCA, CTA) with a good knowledge of accounting is desirable.
* Demonstrable custody experience at a senior manager level. Experience of custody flows, data systems, accounting, and information flows in large organisations.
* A strong technical custody tax base coupled with the ability and desire to work across teams and disciplines to build scalable tax solutions. Strategic mind-set, with strong conceptual, creative, and analytical content.
* Digitally focused and able to conceptualise and help drive development of tax product solutions which are delivered digitally. Energetic, results focused, change agent, with a strong work ethic. Personal qualities of stability, maturity, kindness, and leadership.
* Team player and people motivator. First class interpersonal, collaborative, relationship building and influencing skills. Excellent communicator, both verbally and in writing, with strong presentation skills.
This role is based in London.
