Description About the Paediatric Speech Pathologist role Your Community Health is seeking a Paediatric Speech Pathologist to join our Allied Health Team. This role involves providing speech therapy for preschool children, including individual/group therapy, within a multidisciplinary team. You'll support child development, health promotion, and family well-being in a community setting. Reporting to the Speech Pathology Coordinator, this is an ongoing part-time role (0.4 FTE). Your Passion and Commitment will see you: Provide clinical care to paediatric clients, including outreach services. Identify and implement health promotion programs for high-risk groups. Collaborate with a multidisciplinary paediatric team in meetings and planning. Contribute to quality improvement programs and the review of the Speech Pathology Program. Target health promotion programs to address community needs. To succeed in this role you will have: Hold recognised qualifications in Speech Pathology with eligibility for Speech Pathology Australia membership. Demonstrated experience in paediatric speech pathology, including assessment and treatment of communication disorders, preferably in a community health setting. Current Victorian Driver’s Licence. Training in Hanen Programs ( desirable) Trained in the Lidcombe Program for early childhood stuttering (Grade 2 - desirable ).
