Due to the continued and exciting growth of one of our clients, we are currently recruiting for a Customer Service Executive for their growing team. Based in the York Ring Road.
You will be responsible for servicing inbound phone calls and engaging with prospective and existing customers by explaining the full benefits of the product range and services to grow the business.
We are looking for candidates who have a passion for customer service and the ability to upsell additional company products while retaining existing customers.
Salary: Between £23,000-25,000 depending on experience, plus monthly individual and team commission. Working 37.5 hours a week, Monday to Friday 9-5:30pm with an hour for lunch and 1 in 4 Saturdays working 10-4pm paid at 1.5x overtime.
Duties and Responsibilities:
1. Provide first-class customer service to prospective and existing customers.
2. Work proactively to maximise brand reputation and sales revenue through effective conversations.
3. Maximise up-selling and cross-selling opportunities.
4. Effectively handle inbound customer enquiries and provide solutions proactively.
5. Handle difficult conversations in line with the Company Complaints procedure, recording and escalating feedback where necessary.
6. Demonstrate good communication skills, applying personality, empathy, and professionalism into every call.
7. Work confidently in a target-driven environment, demonstrating ambition to achieve targets and resilience where needed.
Experience Required:
1. Confident working with multiple contact types, such as telephone, social media, webchat, and email.
2. Excellent customer service skills.
3. Experience of phone work, including dialing out.
4. Upselling experience desirable.
5. Excellent telephone manner.
6. Able to multi-task.
7. Drive to achieve KPI’s and SLA’s.
8. Possess excellent communication skills, both verbal and written.
