Sales & Marketing Executive - Stratford-upon-Avon 26,000 - 30,000 per Annum, 40 Hours per Week (5 days) We are seeking an energetic and results-driven Sales and Marketing Executive to join our dynamic team. In this role, you will drive revenue by effectively selling all aspects of the hotel within the local and national marketplace. You will support the delivery of the hotel sales and revenue budget by increasing the share and profitability of existing accounts and securing new business across all market segments. You will focus on corporate, meetings and events, and social banqueting segments, implementing targeted sales and marketing activities such as direct selling, promotions, and digital campaigns. Key Responsibilities: Research competitor properties in order to obtain market intelligence and an understanding of business trends and competitor activity. Support the hotel sales team with researching potential new accounts, conducting telesales and information gathering calls and recording information or outcomes in Salesforce CRM system (CRM client relationship management). Secure and contract new and repeat business for all areas of the business, across all market segments. Identify and target local leisure attractions to develop mutually beneficial affiliations and partnerships. Work with the hotel Director of Sales & Marketing and key hotel team members to strengthen current relationships within the local community. Represent the hotel at seminars, business events and exhibitions to maximise networking opportunities to raise the profile/awareness of the hotel. Support the hotel director of sales and Valor's marketing team to ensure effective data capture and database management. Become familiar with IHG sales initiatives and tools. Work with the Director of Sales & Marketing to ensure a sales culture is embedded throughout the hotel, using the Valor and IHG sales initiatives / tools and gaining buy-in from the team. Collate and submit results following any marketing activity, sales blitzes, focus weeks and ongoing activity (e.g. digital reports, Christmas reports). Assist in the implementation of hotel marketing campaigns and support with the production of sales collateral. Update the hotel's online presence, including the brand website and all third party sites. Manage and implement the hotel's local social media strategy and activity. Support with responding to customer reviews and questions on social media and review sites. Prepare and complete other audits, reports and presentations as required. Keep yourself informed of the hotel's commercial targets. Establish and build relationships with hotel departments and marketing partners. Attend and actively participate in partner and hotel meetings as appropriate. Attend internal and external training courses when required. Proficiency in Salesforce CRM, Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook), Teams/Zoom, Social Media, and Digital Marketing Channels (i.e., Facebook, Instagram) is essential for this role.
