Electrical Maintenance Engineer Position
TEC Partners are looking for an Electrical Maintenance Engineer to join our client who are based over various sites within Suffolk and Norfolk. Travel will be required to both sites where you will be carrying out maintenance duties on various types of machinery.
Key Tasks and Responsibilities:
1. Conduct planned maintenance in a highly regulated environment.
2. Isolate defective equipment from the power supply, check visually for faults, test mechanical parts, identify problem areas, and take corrective action to repair issues.
3. Perform preventative maintenance on equipment by ensuring smooth operation and replacing worn and defective parts.
4. Install electrical systems and associated equipment, followed by appropriate certification.
5. Adhere to safety rules and apply good electrical and safety practices.
6. Undertake company-standard internal workshops and training.
7. Communicate effectively and have a flexible approach to work patterns.
8. Use initiative, pay attention to detail, work both as part of a team and independently.
9. Maintain a high standard of organisation, prioritise tasks, and work under pressure.
Experience and Qualifications:
1. 2 years' minimum experience within a similar role.
2. C&G 2391 Inspection & Testing certification.
3. 18th Edition required.
4. Full UK Driving Licence is required.
5. Willingness to travel to various sites (within a 25 mile distance).
Working Times:
Monday to Friday, start time from 6am. On call over on alternative weeks / weekends. 48 hour weeks plus overtime being available.
