Amazon Data Centers take customer data with the utmost importance, and selected candidates must be able to perform repetitive tasks without variance and adhere to strict Standard Operating Procedures (SOP) that ensure customer data is protected and properly handled.
This Entry Level position requires candidates to be a self-starter, highly motivated individuals who can adhere to strict processes, perform repetitive tasks with no deviation, and demonstrate continuously consistent results. Team Members will be working in a multifunctional environment and must be able to communicate and promote cross-team functionality.
AWS Infrastructure Services (AIS)

Key Job Responsibilities
1. You will interact with stakeholders in Spain and across EMEA, so both Spanish and English language proficiency is essential.
2. Working to meet SLA’s against assigned trouble tickets via a directed workflow.
3. Being the first line touch point for hardware troubleshooting and technical issues.
4. Performing regular server hardware repairs (drives, motherboards, etc.).
5. Carrying out routine network, server hardware, and OS related repairs.
6. Working with cross-functional teams on a regular basis to complete routine work.
7. Engaging with Smart Hands in EU Regional POPs.
8. Adhering to security and safety best practices in the data center.
9. Participating in Data Center power & cooling events.
10. Participating in team meetings for metric analysis and daily/weekly goals achievement.
11. Identifying and helping create documentation for use globally.
12. Identifying and helping create process improvements relevant to the data center environment.
13. Performing server upgrades, rebuilds, and scheduled works as required.
14. Interacting with third-party vendors & contractors.
15. Contributing to the development of other team members.
Minimum Requirements
* STEM classes or vocational course curriculum education.
* Are 18 years of age or older.
* Work 10-hour shifts as needed.
* Knowledge of computer hardware components and operating systems.
* High school or equivalent diploma.
* Experience with Microsoft Office products and applications.
* Experience managing work and priorities through a ticketing system and coordination with a Manager.
