We are currently partnering with an established Law Firm that has been practicing for 35 years and is recruiting for a number of permanent Legal Assistants to join the team in one of the following office locations:
1. Birmingham
2. Edgbaston
3. Lichfield
4. Solihull
5. Sutton Coldfield
As a matter of priority, we are currently offering interviews to all candidates with previous experience in Property Law and/or Conveyancing.
The roles are full-time, offering a negotiable salary subject to experience, and the start date will be subject to notice. Salary will always be between £25,000 and £27,000+.
Duties will include (but are not limited to):
1. Providing full support to Solicitors to enable them to operate efficiently
2. Preparing correspondence using the case management system
3. Attending to clients both on the telephone and in person
4. Administering filing systems, which will include daily filing and the opening, closing, storage, and retrieval of client files
5. Preparing mail and enclosures for dispatch
6. Handling diary management
7. Arranging the scanning and photocopying of paperwork
8. Audio typing from dictation
9. Dealing with routine client correspondence and queries
Experience required:
1. Excellent knowledge and experience within residential conveyancing or private client law
