Head of Marketing and Stakeholder Engagement, Worthing
Guild Care is seeking an exceptional Head of Marketing and Stakeholder Engagement to lead a high-performing team and shape the voice of our organisation across digital, brand, communications, and customer engagement. This strategic leadership role is based in Worthing, West Sussex, with flexibility for hybrid working, and offers 35 hours per week.
Responsibilities
1. Develop and implement a multi-channel marketing and engagement strategy that supports our charitable aims and increases awareness.
2. Safeguard and evolve Guild Care’s brand and public image ensuring consistency with our values.
3. Deliver data-driven campaigns to increase engagement and visibility.
4. Oversee crisis communications and media relations with professionalism and empathy.
5. Build and maintain relationships with stakeholders at local, regional, and national levels.
6. Lead and inspire the Marketing and Communications team, fostering creativity and accountability.
About the Role
You will work closely with service leads, the CEO, and the Board to ensure a consistent and effective voice across all channels, managing brand development, internal communications, stakeholder events, and customer engagement. This is ideal for a creative, analytical leader with experience in a values-led charity.
Qualifications and Skills
* Proven experience at mid-senior level in marketing and communications leadership.
* Expertise across digital, offline, PR, branding, stakeholder engagement, and internal communications.
* Experience managing external agencies and creative suppliers.
* Strong networks and stakeholder relationships, preferably in charity or social care sectors.
* CIM qualification or marketing-related degree preferred.
* Excellent interpersonal, communication, and leadership skills.
* Highly organized with the ability to manage multiple deadlines.
Additional Information
Salary: £51,010-£54,333 per annum
