Key Responsibilities in this Material Science job
* Develop and optimise material recipes for photocathode, secondary electron emission, and vacuum window coatings.
* Operate and refine coating systems to enhance material growth and performance.
* Implement new photocathode monitoring techniques and evaluate underlayer improvements.
* Collaborate with internal teams and external stakeholders, answering technical queries from customers.
* Present research findings at industry conferences and contribute to scientific advancements.
* Support health & safety and quality standards compliance, including ISO 9001 and ISO 14001.
What We’re Looking For in the Material Science job
Essential Qualifications & Experience:
* A PhD or degree in Physics, Chemistry, Materials Science, or Surface Science.
* Hands-on experience with thin film deposition techniques.
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with a keen attention to detail.
* Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to
