The Technical Commissioning Product Specialist – Demonstration & Tradeshows is a key part of the Ross Video Sales Operations organization. Their main responsibility includes Installing, Commissioning and ongoing Testing and Maintenance of various Ross video solutions for customer product demonstrations, tradeshows, and other regional marketing events, as well as local inventory management and logistical coordination. They collaborate with Ross Video’s Sales and Services teams to provide high-quality customer demonstration experience. Technical Commissioning Product Specialist – Demonstration & Tradeshows are expected to have a high level of technical aptitude, time management, and organizational skills. What the job is all about: Co-ordinate, Install and Commission Ross Video and 3rd party solutions and products for in-house and remote demo facilities Troubleshoot, upgrade, and maintain production equipment, both in-house and remotely. Perform regular checks, addressing any issues promptly, and ensuring everything is in working condition. Installing equipment, wiring and labeling based on the documentation provided. Set up systems according to on-site requirements. Become an Expert in Ross products and solutions. Co-ordinate maintenance and upgrade cycles in our Reading Customer Experience Centre. Collaborate with Ross Services to ensure EMEA Based demo systems are ready for customer demos and training. Support customer demos and regional tradeshows onsite to ensure superior customer experience. Collaborate with the Logistics team to manage inventory, prepare shipments and update paperwork. Receive and verify incoming shipments. Perform other related duties as required. Who you are: Minimum 5 years of TV Broadcast/AV experience IT networking / infrastructure education or experience Ross equipment operational and commissioning experience is a plus Advanced Knowledge in best practices for installation (wiring, rack install, electrical, fly pack / flight case design, wiring pinouts etc. Working Knowledge in Tradeshow / Event based technology (Temporary Event Electrical, Sound Reinforcement, Automated Lighting, LED Videowalls, Rigging, etc) Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office 365 Open to new challenges Organized and detail-oriented Team player and independent worker Able to juggle multiple projects Good phone etiquette and writing skills Can work in fast-paced environments Problem-solving skills Can meet strict deadlines Office (primary), moderate noise Willing to travel approximately 20% of the time.
