We are excited to offer the opportunity for the following full-time, permanent vacancy within our Technical Department, based in Marden, Herefordshire:
Due-Diligence Co-ordinator
This role's purpose is to ensure that all produce dispatched meets individual customer due diligence specifications and overall food safety compliance requirements.
The main duties and responsibilities include:
* Label and packaging changes control against commercial and customer communications.
* Review suppliers’ due diligence for packaging to ensure that this is up to date and includes any changes within the season.
* Update customer specific quality service levels & complaints data monthly as part of internal KPI reporting.
* Review UK / Overseas residue results against Government limits / PPU’s / Customer Lists, highlighting any non-conformances.
* Liaise with QA Team and Field Operations to collect relevant information.
* Support Technical team to ensure sufficient & effective monitoring systems are in place so that products packed and dispatched meet customer specifications and legal requirements.
* Improvement of Quality Management Systems.
* Process control auditing and assist with sampling, as required.
Are you the ideal candidate?
The successful candidate will have a good attention to detail, possess strong IT skills and ideally be a proficient user of MS Office software with the ability to produce pivot tables and charts in Excel.
They should communicate effectively, be able to adequately prioritize tasks and be capable to work on their own initiative within a busy commercial environment.
Understanding of horticulture and systems such as Global Gap and SEDEX is desirable, but not essential; Full on-the-job training will be provided.
Candidates are expected to have a full clean driving licence and be prepared to travel within the UK on occasion.
Fluency in English is essential, and knowledge of Spanish would be considered as an advantage.
