What you’ll do Join Our Team as a Channel Sales Executive – Northern Europe Are you a results-driven sales professional with a passion for building relationships and driving growth? SAS is looking for a Channel Sales Executive to join our dynamic Channel Sales Team. In this role, you will collaborate with accredited Solution Providers and Distributors while also having the autonomy to lead sales independently. You’ll help expand our presence across Northern Europe, drive incremental revenue, and contribute to both Tier 2 and direct sales success. This is a hybrid role, requiring two days per week in the office (either Marlow, Glasgow or Dublin) and occasional travel to customer or partner sites as needed. What You’ll Do: Support Solution Providers : Act as a key partner to our accredited Solution Providers, helping them identify, qualify, and close sales opportunities within your assigned territories. You’ll build and nurture strong relationships to drive mutual success in the Tier 2 sales model. Drive direct sales : In some scenarios, you will independently handle sales from start to finish, directly engaging with prospects, managing the sales cycle, and closing deals within your assigned territory. Collaborate with Distributors : Work alongside our Distributor to ensure seamless execution of sales, manage logistics, and ensure sales fulfilment while maintaining clear communication. Strategic planning : Participate in the development and execution of territory and account plans alongside Solution Providers and independently, ensuring that sales opportunities are maximized and revenue targets are met. Customer engagement : From qualifying leads to follow-up, engage with customers through prospecting, cold-calling, social selling, and up-selling to uncover new opportunities. In Tier 2 scenarios, you’ll equip Solution Providers to close deals, while in direct sales scenarios, you’ll manage the process from prospecting to closing. Build relationships : Develop strong connections with Solution Providers, Distributors, and customers at all levels, identifying needs and offering tailored software and solutions. Account management : Support Solution Providers and manage your own sales cycle by guiding prospects through the sales journey, ensuring a smooth and efficient process. Leverage resources : Utilize internal CRM systems and collaborate with internal teams, Solution Providers, and Distributors to streamline the sales process and deliver solutions efficiently. Stay ahead of the curve : Continuously update your knowledge of industry trends, software, hardware, and market shifts to provide top-notch service and solutions. What We’re Looking For: Proven sales experience : A strong track record in supporting sales teams and independently closing deals, with a clear understanding of the hardware and software acquisition cycles. Relationship-building skills : You’re a natural at building and nurturing relationships, especially with partners such as Solution Providers and Distributors, and can communicate effectively across all levels, including with C-suite executives. Flexibility and adaptability : You thrive in a dynamic sales environment and are comfortable shifting between supporting partners in Tier 2 sales and handling direct sales on your own when needed. Analytical mindset : You have the ability to assess territory dynamics, forecast sales, and develop strategies to meet targets both as a team member and independently. Industry expertise : You bring a broad understanding of the software and technology market, with a passion for staying up-to-date on industry trends and product innovations.
