They are the market leader worldwide for hydrodynamic transmissions. Their core activities are as follows: For energy and oil & gas industries: hydrodynamic couplings (fluid couplings), variable speed planetary gear units, turbo gear units, hydrodynamic torque converters and actuating and control technology For industries including steel, mining and metalworking: Fluid couplings, hydraulic systems and components, Hirth serrations, high-performance cardan shafts, safety couplings and highly flexible couplings For road vehicles: automatic transmissions for Buses, hydrodynamic retarders, air compressors and VIAB turbo-retarder clutches as well as vibration dampers for agricultural machinery For rail vehicles: drive systems like turbo gear units, wheelset gear units, traction inverters, cardan shafts, cooling systems, Scharfenberg couplers and front ends My client is offering a fantastic salary and excellent benefits as follows: Company Vehicle Monday – Thursday, 8:30am to 16:30pm, Friday 8:30am – 15:30pm a 36.5-hour working week. £50k – £60k (dependent on experience) Annual Bonus (pro rata on year of joining) 25 days holiday (pro rata on joining) Pensions 3% EE and 6% ER Private Health Care My client is looking for someone who has the following: Bachelor’s degree in mechanical engineering or electrical engineering Prior experience in field services or engineering/automotive industry Strong knowledge of Commercial automotive systems and components Basic understanding of Matlab/Simulink/Stateflow Proficient in C/C++ Programming Capable of handling Vector CANalyzer and Vector Toolchain If you’re interested, call Alfie Harvey on (phone number removed)
