An exciting opportunity has arisen within our neurological services to recruit a clinical nurse specialist to our Epilepsy Specialist Nursing Team.
Applicants should have personal values and behaviours that align with those outlined by RDaSH and NHS Values.
The ideal candidate will be:
• An experienced, flexible, forward-thinking nurse
• Able to autonomously manage a caseload of patients with Epilepsy
• Able to work effectively in a multidisciplinary team
• Able to manage their own time effectively
• Able to work in a variety of settings including a degree of hybrid working
• Attend and represent the service in patient related meetings across primary and secondary care
• Able to aid with the development and delivery of training packages
• To aid with the delivery of a specialist nursing service for people with
Epilepsy
• To assess individual patient’s needs, set and implement programmes of care for patients linking with primary, secondary and tertiary care ensuring care is properly coordinated.
• To contribute to the development of nursing within the Trust by working across boundaries and interagency working.
• As part of a team, initiate research-based practice and monitor the quality of the service being provided
