Robert Half are working with a reputable business based in South Bristol who are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Financial Reconciliation Analyst for a 2-3 month contract role. The ideal candidate will be responsible for reviewing and improving financial reconciliation processes, auditing existing reconciliation practices, and solving ad-hoc issues as they arise. This is a hands-on role where you will get into the details, tackle complex problems, and drive improvements within our financial systems. Location: South Bristol Rate: £350 - £400pd (Via Umbrella) Start: ASAP Duration: 2 /3 Months Hybrid working 2 days working in the office Key Responsibilities: Conduct quality reviews of balance sheet reconciliations (prioritised based on risk assessments). Document key findings from reconciliation reviews and recommend corrective actions. Contribute to the continuous improvement of reconciliation processes, identifying areas for optimisation/standardisation. Provide valuable input on the development and updating of existing balance sheet reconciliation templates. Design and implement standardised supporting documentation for balance sheet reconciliations, including control accounts and independently managed accounts. Take on critical ad-hoc tasks and special projects as assigned by the management team, ensuring timely and accurate completion. Qualifications & Experience : Fully qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CIMA, or equivalent) Confidence in analysing complex financial data. Strong communication skills.
